McKay Student Ejection Fees
With our focus on student accountability, McKay will begin charging student accounts for the if a player is ejected. Behaviors for ejections include discriminatory language, entering the field during a fight, leaving the team box, and/or fighting that requires players to complete the online NFHS Sportsmanship Course following an ejection.
Players may be subject to other consequences. If the ejection is appealed and approved, the ejection fee will be removed from the student’s account.
McKay Athletic Uniforms & Gear Fees
McKay will provide athletes with loaner uniforms/gear for the season. It is required the loaner uniform/gear be return at the end of each season to the head coach.
Failure to return loan items may result in student fees per items not returned. The cost per uniform may vary from $50 - $1200 depending on the program. These charges will not be removed unless the coach confirms the loaner items have been returned. The coach will communicate to the school bookkeeper upon receipt of items and charges will be adjusted/removed.
Damaged Uniforms & Gear
All uniforms and gear provided for sports are property of McKay High School. All intentionally damaged/vandalized items are subject to disciplinary actions and student charges for the cost to replace the items. There will be no charges if the item(s) have regular wear & tear.
Athletic fees will impact students’ ability to graduate if not paid before graduation.
