Last year during finals week, Gerald Hosler’s McKay Agriculture students and Kellie Menghini’s classes prepared and planted pumpkins for our Urban Ag Fest.
Today, students got to see the final product from the small seeds they planted in June. The plant science class harvested over 100 pumpkins. The largest one weighs in at 39 lbs.
Hats off to these first time pumpkin growers!
