McKay’s Family/FAFSA Night will be delayed until Monday, Feb. 12

Closeup of the federal aid application

McKay Families,

McKay’s Family/FAFSA Night will be delayed until Monday, Feb. 12. Unfortunately, the U.S. Department of Education sent out a notice that the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA ® ) will again be delayed. It was expected that by the end of January/early February students would be able to log in to make corrections and colleges would begin to receive student information. However, the National Association of Student Federal Aid Administrators (NASFAA) sent out an email explaining the US Department of Education’s delay is expected to continue to mid-March before colleges will receive student information. You can read the NASFAA letter that went out:

The focus on Monday, Feb. 12 will be to assist those who have not completed their FAFSA yet and celebrate semester 1 accomplishments.

Thank you for understanding.
