McKay High School has two TRIO programs, Talent Search and Upward Bound, both programs are federally funded college access programs through Chemeketa Community College.

TRIO’s mission is to assist low income and/or first generation students to be successful in high school, prepare for post-secondary education and help them with the transition to college/technical careers etc. We have transitioned our programming to a virtual setting but still continue to support 9th-12th grade students, to learn more about how that looks like and about our programs resources please visit our website: chemeketatrio.org
