The Competitive Advantage: CTE in Salem-Keizer
In Salem-Keizer, students throughout their K-12 experience have a number of opportunities to engage in clubs, activities and academic programs that support them on their path for success in school and where life will bring them after they graduate.
Expanding CTE for Student Growth
Data has proven that when students hold a strong sense of belonging, they experience greater outcomes and success in their academic programs. This is one of the reasons Salem-Keizer Public Schools has invested and focused on expanding Career and Technical Education opportunities for students throughout the district.
February is CTE Month
Throughout the month, we will share stories about how CTE impacts students' lives and highlight more than 50 programs available. Salem-Keizer students gain a competitive advantage when they graduate after participating in these programs.
